J.J.
John (JJ) is in the permanent custody of the agency,
and has been in agency care since November of 2004. JJ is in need of a
“forever” home. JJ is currently placed in a residential treatment program for
sexual offending behaviors. JJ has been adjudicated through Juvenile Court. JJ
was subjected to physical abuse, neglect, and sexual abuse, and is in intensive
counseling to address these issues. JJ also is on medications to help him with
negative behaviors. JJ is on an IEP through school to address learning
disabilities and behavior problems.
JJ does need to make further progress in
counseling, and sexual offenders therapy. A permanent family is needed to help
JJ when he progresses in his therapy. JJ will need a family that is able to
work with him in family sessions at the residential center, and transition out
of care.
JJ does have a unique sense of humor, and
enjoys animals. JJ also is very active and enjoys sports.
