DOB 11/17/2008 and 10/26/2009

Double the fun! Jacob and Joangello are two little boys that have lots of energy and personality. Jacob (pictured on the right) is a two and a half year old boy who loves to play with any type of transportation vehicles, loves to dance to music and loves to be with other children. Jacob has no special health needs, but is currently receiving early intervention services to help him develop his language and social skills. Jacob loves to help out in his foster home and although he does not say many words, he can understand what is being said to him.

Jacob takes a little time to warm up to unfamiliar people, but once he does, he is ready to play and be held and loves to sit and look at books and be read to.

Joangello is a one and half year old boy who is all smiles and dimples. Joangello loves to be held and is a very cuddly little boy with a sweet disposition. Joangello loves to follow his older brother’s lead and is interested in everything! Joangello is being monitored for mild cerebral palsy, but is running around and doing very well. Neither child require any special medical care at this time other than their routine check ups.

Families interested in adopting Jacob and Joangello will need to have a good understanding of toddler behaviors and will need patience as the boys make the transition from foster care to adoption.

Agency received permanency custody of the boys on 4/21/2011. It is expected that the parent(s) may appeal the PC decision. Families also need to be aware that the mother is pregnant and so families also need to be willing to accept an infant.

Homestudies of interested families are to be forwarded to the agency by May 31, 2011.
