Isabella and Anthony

DOB 11/19/07 and 5/29/09

Isabella is a sweet, healthy two year old. She enjoys having books read to her and "reading" them herself. Isabella is good with interacting with other children. She can walk and run and is currently being potty trained. She loves to give hugs and kisses. Bella is learning her body parts and colors. She also knows most animals and the sounds they make. Isabella is placed with her younger brother and enjoys interacting with him. She is on track for her age with no developmental or mental disabilities.

Anthony is a happy and healthy infant. He has been placed in the same foster home since birth. Anthony is placed with his older sister. Anthony smiles all day long and is on target developmentally. He is sitting by himself and is working on rolling over. He is not quite able to roll over due to his weight, although the doctors have stated that this is not a concern.

Isabella entered foster care on March 27, 2008 and Anthony entered foster care on June 1, 2009. Both children have only had one foster placement since entering care.

The birth parents have a history of drug and alcohol use and domestic violence. Mental illness such as major depression, Bi-polar, Intermittent Explosive Disorder, and Schizophrenia also runs in her family. Birth mother has been hospitalized due to mental health issues and attended special education classes when younger due to a learning disability.

Isabella and Anthony need a permanent home with parents that they can bond to and that will love them. Isabella will thrive in a home that has no other children besides her brother where she is able to have a lot of one-on-one time. Isabella is very bonded with her foster parents who she has been with for almost two years, so her transition to another home may be challenging for her and there will need to be numerous pre-placement visits to allow Isabella to adjust to her new family.

Isabella and Anthony need a forever family that can provide for their needs. Both children are Medicaid eligible.
